Excellent read! Hope it becomes a movie!!! Really good read with a lot of laughs, some tears but also mixed with a lot of excellent information on all dogs! I HIGHLY recommend this book and that others also recommend it!

A heartwarming story of a woman's dedication to her fur baby... It isn't just a story of a Doberman, or a dog owner... It's a story of family, love, life, health, partnership, loss, and triumph. It's a story of determination, frustration, and joy. It's about never giving up, when you know that something is wrong. I laughed. I ugly cried. I had a hard time putting it down. I strongly recommend this book!
Gunner's Story was a beautifully written book that made me laugh at his antics and cry at his hardships. Karen's dedication to her "family" is admirable and just. Dogs are more than just an animal, they are our biggest fans and they love unconditionally. I'm so happy for Karen and Tim that they have the wonderful, special memories of Gunner and his unique personality. Wonderfully done!
I loved this book, as the owner of many rescued Dobermans I found it gave me a lot of good information on Hypothyroid in dogs that I never knew. Karen and Gunners story is amazing, I laughed and cried reading about their lives. If you have a dog, not just Dobermans you should read this book as the information could be life saving to them.
I don’t read many books but because I’m a Doberman owner/lover I had to checkout this book. After starting to read this book I had a hard time putting it down. Very informative with lots of laughs and a few tears. It’s a must read for the Doberman owner or really any dog owner. Can’t wait for the second book to come out!!
